Recycling Regulations

Recycle — It's the Law!

More recycling means lower fees for our trash pick up — resulting in lower taxes for you and a cleaner world for all of us.

Please Note: Do not place plastic bags or plastic film in your recycling bin. They are considered a contaminant when placed in our single-stream recycling carts and cause damage to the sorting equipment at recycling processing centers. These items are recyclable but only if returned to a retail store that collects the bags/film. Please call the Borough’s Recycling Coordinator with any questions at (856) 881-3778. All recyclables are collected on your trash day. Problems with recycling pickup call Gold Metal Environmental at 856-784-5050.

Paper: Newspapers, magazines, and flattened corrugated cardboard. Do not recycle food or contaminated boxes like pizza boxes.
