About Us

The Borough Clerk manages a number of critical municipal functions. The Clerk’s key responsibilities include receiving, filing, securing, and disseminating all official correspondence, information, and/or records of the municipality.

Other duties of the Borough Clerk include preparing for, attending, recording, and creating minutes of all council meetings. The Clerk prepares resolutions and ordinances, and prepares public notices of them for publication in the Borough’s official newspapers — the Gloucester County Times, and the Sentinel of Gloucester County.

The Clerk oversees all municipal elections, and submits the results to the Gloucester County Board of Elections. The Clerk also manages bid openings and handles liquor licensing, pet licensing, and yard sale permitting. The Clerk is also responsible for managing OPRA requirements.
