The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) oversees all financial activities of the Borough. The CFO’s primary responsibilities are:
- Developing and executing the municipal budget.
- Authorizing the purchasing of all services, equipment, and supplies.
- Managing all investments and bonding activities.
- Verifying the accuracy of fiscal transactions and account reconciliations.
The Chief Financial Officer ensures the Borough complies with all regulatory requirements pertaining to municipal finances. The CFO is involved with bids, grants, and other such financial activities. The Finance Clerk assists the CFO with these duties, and provides support to the CFO as directed.
The Purchasing Clerk works with vendors and companies to acquire the materials and services requested by each department. The Purchasing Clerk prepares purchase orders, obtains quotes, and distributes payments.
