Everbridge Notification System
Gloucester County provides the Everbridge Notification System to ensure public safety, community awareness and emergency response. The Everbridge System enables residents in Gloucester County to receive emergency notifications such a severe weather warnings, road closures, and snow emergencies. In addition to emergency alerts, Everbridge is used to communicate information on special events or activities occurring in each town. These events are called “elective”.
Information can be received on multiple platforms:
- Text Message
- Voice messages delivered to personal phones, work phones, & home phones
Residents chose how they want to receive messages and what types of alerts and messages they wish to receive.
Additionally, residents may sign up for alerts via cell phone by texting “GC Alerts” to 888777 and to sign up for special events notices by texting “GC Events” to 888777.
